Overview / Usage
This build was aimed to be a quiet rig that would fit for work and play, no matter the task tossed at it. As of now I am working on shifting from the InWin 303 chassis to a beQuiet Silent Base 801 that I have had for a couple years now. I want to hone my modding skills with this next version and retain the use of custom water cooling. Seeing the new consumer platform on the market has made me want to move from the HEDT platform as well, as there is more room to play with hardware choices and the Haswell/Broadwell-E platform has been a phenomenal one for the past 5 years but it's time to switch. The switch will be due to the efficiency of new and future hardware coming from Intel that is more powerful and energy efficient in a smaller footprint. Want this to have a clean/minimal appearance.
Methodology / Approach
Used EK's Cooling Configurator to determine compatible parts, and used graph paper to draw a render when I was doing the original build. I plan on hand drawing out the render for the change over and measuring out what else I plan on modding on the case in order to design a visual plan (normal process I tend to go through on all projects - PC and Automotive). I am always looking for ways to train and flex my mod skills to innovate builds.
