Create an original work inspired by Intel ARC

This challenge focused on creating original digital art, designs, or animated gifs inspired by Intel ARC, that reflect the Intel Arc product aesthetic in something creative, such as; Intel Arc reflected in PC Gaming products and accessories, concept art for an Intel Arc styled video game or fine art piece that tells your own story arc with elements of the Intel Arc style. This can be anything from a 3D rendering, animation, Alchemist character concepts, or even a GPU Shroud design. We will pick five (5) finalists, who will compete for the grand prize of $5,000.

How to Submit

Creating a good submission: Read the judging rules below and do your best to describe your project
Explain the scope of your project in Overview. Include any drawings, sketches, photographs, renders that will help judges visualize your project. Describe your method(s) for achieving your build. Tell us your creative approach and explain, tools, processes, techniques, thought processes that you will use on the project. Explain how you will make use of intel products and technologies in your build and or how the GPU would enhance your design. Finalist Phase: please keep a video/picture journal of your build’s progress and submit it to us. Submit at least five (5) videos and ten (10) photos of your progress via a shared folder assigned by an Intel representative. Permission must be given to use all photos and videos on Intel's social media channels. Here is an example of good submission, watch videos from this project.

Intel Insiders Student Challenge is open to participants in the United States. See full eligibility in our Terms and Conditions (link) The concepts for the competition must be new and not from older projects in the past. Finalist phases: The best designs (5) will be selected to bring their designs to life and compete for the grand prize of $5,000. Finalist phase: The 5 finalists must submit a separate work journal (photographs and or videos) of the progress of their PC build. a. Finalist phase: It is recommended that the work journal show as many details as possible so the judges can see all the effort and work put in to give you an accurate score. You must be the original creators of your build and/or design and you must be a legal adult in your country of residence or have written permission by a legal parent or guardian. Submit your concepts for both contests by Jan 31 (contests open on Jan 3) Finalist Phase: Judges will select projects by Feb. 4, 2022, and add those projects to Student Challenge Showcase. Finalists for the build contest will be shipped hardware. Final Submission: All showcase finalists will need to update their project adding a video that demonstrates the final build, how it works, and the inspiration behind it by Feb 24, 2022. Everyone is given the same options for hardware for a complete build. Contestants are not allowed to seek out sponsorships for anything used in their builds. Anything used in the builds, including product, non-open-market discounts, services, or other investments of time or material where a fair market payment is eschewed.
Judging: Projects will be judged on 3 criteria
Creativity and/or inspiration for the project. Technical skill/craftsmanship: Difficulty, effort, techniques, tools, etc. used on the project. Use and inclusion of Intel products in the build.
NOTE: Please include descriptions for your creations outline the judging criteria above. The finalists will be required to submit a video and pictures of the project where final judging will rely on the above being clearly articulated and or demonstrated in the video
Dates and Timelines
Ideation Submission Phase: All submissions must be published to TechMesh as part of the Student Challenge Group by Jan 31, 2022. For questions, join our Discord in the #TechMesh_Challenge Channel Finalist Phase: Judges will select projects as finalists by Feb 4, 2022. Finalists will be shipped hardware. Final Submission: All showcase finalists will need to update their project by adding a video that demonstrates the final build by Feb 24, 2022. Winners will be chosen by Feb 28, 2022.
