Share your embedded deep learning projects with the world.
Group location: 1675 Lincoln St, Santa Clara, CA 95050, USA
Bob Duffy , Owner
Folsom, CA, USA
A group where you can show off your cool embedded deep learning projects and hacks to the world. Let everyone know you are creating projects that bring intelligence to devices around them. Be it a home automation project that can turn your home into 'Dexter's Laboratory', a robotic vacuum cleaner hack that no longer bumps into your cat while she is taking one of her infamous 'cat nap', or just a weekend project that brings you one step closer to becoming a deep learning guru!
So you have a great idea, but not necessarily the technical know-how to execute every piece of your project? Not a problem! Simply post your project idea on the group and turn on 'Seeking Collaborators' option when you fill out the 'Add project' form. You will be surprised by how fast your project will come to life, just by collaborating with fellow deep learning enthusiasts such as you.

Shriram K. Vasudevan is an M.Tech., M.B.A., and Ph.D. with over 11 years of industrial and academic experience. He received his master’s degree and Doctorate in the field of Embedded Systems. He has worked with major multinational companies like Wipro and Aricent Technologies; and been to the USA on a technical assignment while functioning for WIPRO technologies. He was also closely associated with VIT University. Presently, he is employed with a leading educational institution and serves as an Assistant Professor. He has authored/co-authored 32 books in various fields and is currently authoring 3 more books. He has published 100 plus international papers and still counting. He, along with his students had demonstrated the use of a device that binds the concept of augmented reality at human fingers and had been to San Francisco related to the project. He had been to Dubai, UAE and has been trained by Barcode Gulf LLC on handheld devices. Being an innovative “techie” himself, he not only gets updated with new technology every now and then but also persuades his students to put forward their ideas and supports them enormously to get it implemented. Mentioning just a few prominent achievements among the many; he is awarded/appreciated by IEI(India), Future Group, Computer Society of India, Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), MoFPI (Govt of India), Wipro Technologies, Infosys, and VIT University for his technical skills. His inventions obtained him the inventor award from intellectual ventures. Although a person with a general flare for much of the technical concepts; he showcases a strong interest in the areas of Augmented Reality, IoT, and Product Engineering. He has also delivered a lot of keynote lectures and invited talks all over the country. He has a channel which has a massive reach in the student community. He mentors students towards Entrepreneurship. In near future, Shriram may enter into entrepreneurship.

Interconnected roads and cars. Devices for blind people. Lands and trees able to send help requests. Everything is connected, from industrial machinery to everyday objects that become intelligent life forms. They talk, communicate, move, process and transmit data. It is not imagination but my work that between distributed sensor networks and software allows me to design connected objects, the so-called IoT devices as well as to design software of any kind at various levels of complexity. Intel® Software Innovator Program Member: One of a select group of developers noted for innovative projects and thinking. Intel recognizes the achievements of these leaders in leveraging Intel Android and Intel® Perceptual Computing/RealSenseTM technology. Members demonstrate ingenuity, experimentation and a willingness to inspire the broader community through demos and speakerships in support of the latest technologies.
