Description

Chronosapien was established in 2014 by Justin Link and Ryan Clark. After leaving the Media Convergence Laboratory at UCF, they wanted to continue the same kind of work with emerging technology that they were doing at the lab, but instead focus on enterprise, commercial, and consumer facing applications.

Since starting the company, Chronosapien has worked on projects for companies like Canon, Intel, Florida Hospital, and Kennedy Space Center. Their biggest project was for their own game called Space Between, an underwater themed gesture game using Intel’s RealSense device, and was released in 2015 on Intel’s App Showcase.

The goal for us has always been to leverage new capabilities enabled by emerging technologies to do innovation in interactive media. Our experience with numerous devices has not only given us knowledge for working with many kinds of tech, but has also shown us how to get at what is important when working with new technology. As with anything we do, we’re not just riding hype or creating a gimmick—we’re developing for the future.

Chronosapien is currently working on developing a room-scale VR social music experience, Shapesong.
