Intel Creator Challenge – Special Edition
World class PC Modders and Overclocking legands take to the stage to show off Intel i9-13900KS

On Thursday, January 12th Intel celebrated the launch of the new i9-13900KS processor with a Special Edition of the Intel Creator Challenge series. The Twitch stream included a Modder-series based on the 6GHz milestone as a theme, Overclocking (LN2) with OC legends Pieter-Jan Plaisier and Jon Sandstrom, Q&A with the audience and Intel experts and a special behind-the-scenes programing just for our Discord community.

Our Modders were joined by Extra Life influencers and connected this program to fundraise for the Children’s Miracle Network Hospital. The fundraising window is open until 11:59 pm EST on January 31, 2023, so there is still time to win one of these systems. More information can be found here Creator Challenge Giveaway

LN2 Overclocking with World Leading Experts

Alejandro Hoyos led a great discussion with Pieter and Jon on Overclocking 101 with tips and tricks on how enthusiasts can fine tune their rigs and the performance benefits of overclocking. The team provided a demo for Intel’s Cryo Cooling 2.0 technology capabilities and of course any OC segment would not be complete without pushing the limits with extreme cooling. It is always exciting to push this new CPU to the limit and the results were thrilling.

Build #1: Blue Horse Studios, Bruce Greene, PCJunkieMods

One of the elements that blew us away during this build was the attention to detail on the illuminated back panel display with the diffusing film and RBG. Normally a forgotten space, they transformed this panel into a full Intel themed circuit board. Even with the time constraints the team showed how to bend some custom lines for liquid cooling. The white and gold them was very clean.

Build #2: LiquidHaus and CupAhNoodle

The custom chassis is next level. Liquidhaus came into this competition with several their own custom designs starting with the chassis and the pump mounts for dual D5 set-up. They also debuted some upcoming cooling solutions with some custom mount brackets. What I appreciate watching them is that they are great at identifying modding challenges and then provide sleek solutions. You must see this system in action here

Build #3: PC Werkz, TheAlmightyBones, GGF Events

This might be the largest build I have seen in a while, so this one had a BIG impact. Incredible build with a custom “6” cooling reservoir incorporating the theme of 6GHz. Amazing reflective back panel and satin and metal tubing and clear blocks meant that the colors had to be perfect, and they did not disappoint. This is one of those you need to take your time to appreciate the details. More footage and a walk around can be found Here

Custom content for our community
For the first time, we took our Discord community behind the scenes. Our community got to ask the participants questions during the event in real-time, got a peak into the production space and just see what it takes to put on a production like this. It was an amazing opportunity to feel connected to the competition and get an exclusive view. If you are interested in joining our Discord, check out https://discord.com/invite/intel.

It is all fun, but there must be a winner!
Our judges had a tough job, but they were supported with some help from the audience and our Intel Insiders. All the builds were judged on creativity, demonstration of Hardware Excellence, Material and method used, does it boot and Intel Insider sentiment. We brought in some amazing judges with Justin Robey, Christina Liu, and Kevin Keating. After all of that, Blue Horse Studios, Bruce Greene and PCJunkieMods came out on top!
