Overview / Usage

Dassault Systèmes provides businesses and people with 3DEXPERIENCE universes to imagine sustainable innovations capable of harmonising product, nature and life.

In this talk Jan Meseth, R&D Technology Stellar Physically Correct Director at Dassault Systèmes, presents results of a cooperation between Dassault Systèmes and Intel to deliver a new Wavefront Stellar Physically Correct Renderer. This cooperation was made possible by use of Intel® oneAPI Rendering ToolKit solutions and close partnership with Intel engineers.

Methodology / Approach

The Dassault Systèmes and Intel partnership represents a long term strategy to improving efficiency of design, engineering and visualisation tools developed by Dassault Systèmes. Visual and graphics experiences that inspire and captivate the audience were a focus of a new Wavefront version of Stellar Physically Correct Renderer, a part of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform of Dassault Systèmes. This renderer makes use of various Intel® oneAPI Rendering ToolKit solutions: Intel Embree 3 for high performance ray-triangle intersections, Intel Open Image Denoise for high-quality CPU denoising and Intel oneAPI Threading Building Blocks for efficient utilisation of multi-threading.
