Overview / Usage

  1. 8 player support: Whether it is for the local or online play, supporting 8 players is a very complicated thing to do. Not only for all the technical side (thanks to Rewired, an input plugin for Unity) but also design-wise. Making sure every players know where they are on the screen has been and is still one of the biggest problem we encountered. By adding more difference in colors and by reducing the noise on-screen, we think it is enough for players not to be too confused.

  2. Cross-platform online support: Getting the approvals of each platform and actually doing the work to support online play has also been a big problem. We solved the problem by using Photon for Unity's library which gave us all we needed to do it.

Methodology / Approach

As a small team of developpers with a lot of Unity3D experience, we were easily able to scope our project and create a very realistic roadmap.
