If you love animated movies, then you most probably know how cute WALL-E is! And perhaps you wanted to have one at some point in time (don’t lie!). Overview / Usage
A humanoid robot is a robot with its body shape built to resemble the human body. The design may be for functional purposes, such as interacting with human tools and environments, for experimental purposes, such as the study of bipedal locomotion, or for other purposes. Biped robots represent a very interesting research subject, with several particularities and scope topics, such as: mechanical design, gait simulation, patterns generation, kinematics, dynamics, equilibrium, stability, kinds of control, adaptability, biomechanics, cybernetics, and rehabilitation technologies.
Methodology / Approach
We study the motion of the human body when someone walks and try to replicate the same to a degree using servo motors. The servo motors are explicitly programmed to makes few moves which make it appear as it the robot is dancing. We named this robot as "Ruby" - our very own dancing robot ruby.
