Overview / Usage

The classic 90s Flame Fractal algorithm is supercharged with new algorithms and GPU rendering technology to make a unique and high-powered fractal art design and production environment, with instant full-quality previews and progressive rendering.

Methodology / Approach

Written in C++, the extremely optimised CPU rendering is great for producing high resolution prints using large amounts of memory available in modern PCs. On the other hand, the cutting edge OpenCL rendering engine enables rendering using any compliant GPU(s), in any combination!

Technologies Used

Most of the development was done on Intel CPUs over the years; OpenCL is used for the GPU rendering engine.
