E-commerce is one of the main drivers for postal delivery businesses that fill the gap due to the decrease in the number of mails. Between 2011 and 2014, global packets of small packages and placements by Posts worldwide increased by 48% to reach 357 million items. In Asia and Oceania, where there were about 460 million online shoppers, the share of exports grew from 25.5 to 32.9 per cent over the same period, while its share increased to 23.9 from 15 per cent. Global B2C E-commerce is worth about $ 1.2 trillion. Although smaller than business to business (B2B) e-commerce, worth more than $ 15 trillion, this segment grew faster, especially in Asia and Africa.
