Overview / Usage
According to the United Nations, it is estimated that 35 per cent of women worldwide have experienced either physical and/or sexual intimate partner violence or sexual violence by a non-partner (not including sexual harassment) at some point in their lives. Eye aims to reduce the number of unreported and dismissed cases of Gender Based Violence (GBV) crimes in South Africa.
In order to help fight GBV, we charted on a mission to build a Game using Unity Game Engine that allows real-time video streaming with family and friends while playing a game to discretely report gender based violence crimes.
Methodology / Approach
We used Video Analysis ad Natural Language Processing .
To develop our solution, we used the Agora.io Video SDK for Unity as well as Endless Runner - Sample Game from Unity Technologies both available through the Unity Asset Store.
