Overview / Usage

This system is made to automate the attendance system for a class and to prevent proxies. The results were very accurate when a high resolution camera is used to capture the top front view of the class. After the recognition ,the attendance automatically get updated to backend which is built on SQL Database.

Methodology / Approach

The basic part of this system is face recognition. The face recognition is achieved using DLIB which converts a face into a 128 Dimensional vector space and after comparing the euclidean distance it is able to recognise the face with very high accuracy. Few preprocessing steps are done to minimise the error.

Python, Dlib, SQL Database, High resolution Camera.
