Overview / Usage
There is a great sense of nostalgia, thinking about being a kid and sitting in the yard at dusk and watching the fireflies dance around.
Fireflies communicate with a "language of light" that scientists still don't completely understand. They use light to communicate with each other and predators. Why should some little beetles with a brain smaller than a head of a pin be wired to do things in such a complex fashion?
- Synchronous FireFly: coordinating their flashes into bursts that ripple through a group of the insects. - Sort of Morse Code to be with the right species (Secret flash code)
