Overview / Usage

It's a entertainment product. It gives people a break from their daily lives and encourages play. Our game is great for adults and children. A dad can buy it and play with his kid. It's a very social game that encourages team play and it's great as a party game, where people will shout and get really excited about it. In short it cures boredom and bring people together.

Each game starts with both teams building a castle outfitted with cannons. Then, all hell breaks loose! Cannon balls fly, stone walls crumble, and your knight takes to the turf, slashing his sword. Once you’ve destroyed your opponent’s base and K.O. the king or queen inside, you win the round. You need three K.O.s to win the match. After each round you can rebuild your castle.

Methodology / Approach

We made sure that the art allows everybody to participate, it's very child friendly but it also has the depth to keep adults entertained.

We used our knowledge for game design to make it very accessible through a tutorial. We made sure all the controls are intuitive and behaves as you would expect. On top of that we added layers of complexity that are not necessary to have a great time with the game, but our hardcore fans will dig into it and learn about it.

It's also accessible on a lot of devices, it doesn't require the best graphic cards nor does it requires controllers. You can play two people on a keyboard. It also supports a very broad variety of controllers.

Technologies Used

Our engine is Unity. Unity allows for great optimization and it can be used for almost every platform you can think of. Besides that we used a plugin called rewired to handle the different controller inputs, which made sure we can support every thinkable controller.

It can run a low end computer even though the graphics are great and in 3D.

We don't have much experience in using Intel Technologies but are eager to learn.
