Overview / Usage

Mycroft's technology is built of four open source technology pieces: Speech to Text (OpenSTT), Intent Parsing (Adapt), Text to Speech (Mimic), and the Mycroft Core framework. The platform is highly portable and can run on Linux systems from single board computers to desktops. Mycroft Core is written in Python and provides an API which allows developers to build their own Skills to access web services, control IoT devices, interact with media systems and more. Skills run on any platform and are configured, stored and delivered by our proprietary back end system. All of our technology is fully functional with ongoing development expanding features, improving the user experience and porting the software to various operating systems.
