The Wi-Fi signal is transmitted in all the directions of an antenna. So a large amount of signal is wasted, if any of the devices does not use the signal. This electromagnetic signal can be converted into electric signal and it can be used in charging of smart phones. This equipment with the micro USB port can be connected to the smart phones for charging in public places where Wi-Fi is feasible.
Basically for using Wi-Fi signal, password authentication is important. Here, the power is generated by just sensing the signal strength of the Wi-Fi signals around the locality and the power is generated from the signal of maximum strength.
For Future purposes, this setup can be made inbuilt in the hardware of the Smart phones.
