Overview / Usage

Using a hub (Intel Edison), individual robotic devices and machine learning in the cloud an intelligent virtual "hive" is created that can be used to increase validity of collected data, improve efficiency of action and act together as a collective.
The hub will have the ability to interact with the individual robots via BLE, WiFi, and RF allowing for interaction with a large number of robots/devices.

A prototype has been built using Sphero BB-8's that collect 2D mapping data, share it via BLE to the Edison hub and pass the data to AWS to build a real-time map. The bots work in concert validating each others mapping/coordinate data, being controlled autonomously by the "Hive" logic controller.

Future plans will include controlling drones and bots of all types via any interface by extending the hub.
