Overview / Usage

A sensor based freezing water pipe detection and prevention system. It detects when water in a pipe is about to freeze, and will automatically open a valve to release warmer water until the water temperature rises, and then automatically shuts off the valve. This project won first place at the Intel IoT Roadshow in Denver in April 2016, and the US semi-finals for the China-US Young Maker Competition: Co-Making the Future in July 2016.
