Overview / Usage

Our idea is called Tailgate Preventer. It is a rear smart license plate holder that uses a R200 camera to determine whether a car is tailgating by detecting the speed and distance of the car. It will give tailgaters warning signals by flashing red LED lights. If the warning signals are left unheeded within a certain amount of time, it will record the intended tailgater's license plate, location, speed, time, a photo as well as a video. This data will be uploaded into the cloud and can be shared to insurance companies.
