Torch features a glass borosilicate glass cooling system made from lab grade Pyrex. She was the build that initiated my obsession with glass cooling systems and is the brainchild of future projects. She features some of the most intricate and involved bends I have ever sought to accomplish. ...learn more

Overview / Usage

This project is the first component of my conceptual series in the world of glass cooling systems. I expect to achieve a result in the future exploring the relationship between laminar and turbulent flow with respect to PC cooling as well as other concepts such as the elimination of traditional radiators to facilitate ideas like inverse flow and liquid to liquid heat exchange methods.

Methodology / Approach

My approach to any project is simple: It all starts with 'what if'. The rest, well, that's the fun part. Keeping this perspective allows me to keep my mind open in pursuit and trial, letting subsequent failures lay the groundwork for better ideas. Then, I execute on the ideas I find on the borderline of possible and try to make a machine that moves people.

I want this PC build to be the doorway to my exploration in conceptual cooling methods that have yet to be experienced. Glass cooling systems open the doors beyond comprehension, however, the time involved in the manipulation of glass to be at exact point requires an extensive amount to nail such a narrow tolerance threshold.
