The Problem:

For most businesses, "data entry" is a necessary evil. This is especially the case for businesses with a very prominent customer-facing role, such as: banks, healthcare professionals (1), governments, and utility companies. Therefore the goal is to capture as much information as possible, without placing a significant burden on the "data entry professional" who needs to complete the data within the form fields.

Methodology / Approach

The Solution:

"Voice HTML" is the name of the software framework that allows business professionals that have a microphone to talk to a web page for rapid data entry. Imagine the typical case of opening a bank account in North America or Europe. The process requires a physical visit to a bank branch, and a 1-to-1 verbal conversation with a bank agent. "Voice HTML" can cut the time required to open an account by up to 75% by allowing the bank agent to speak the form data directly into the bank's intranet pages.

The bank agent can use phrases like: " The date of birth of Mr. Hopkins is October 15, 1999" , or " The client was born on the 15 of October in 1999". In either case, the "Voice HTML" framework will fill in the fields on the HTML page that represent the date of birth.

Technologies Used

"Voice HTML" is a software framework of technologies that:

1. Use Intel Core i7 CPUs for local (and scalable) voice transcription
2. Use AI and NLP to enable the user to describe in natural language the data that they want entered into the form
3. Support both English and Spanish phrases
4. Does NOT require browser plugins, and work with all standard HTML5 compliant browsers
