Overview / Usage

Vectality, code name: "Duality"

I've been gaming for over 20 years, and I have always dreamed of the ultimate battle station - a system that not only can game, but a network of two systems working in sync to deliver top-notch gaming + streaming capabilities.

The finished result would be a room (complete with entire room lighting based on in game health) that looks like circuits are on the walls. My dream PC Gaming system would be sitting in the top-middle of it as the centerpiece.

Methodology / Approach

My current setup is halfway there (Picture included) - A PC sitting as the centerpiece of my gaming experience. Currently the walls don't have lighting on them (Which is why they aren't in the picture), or lighted circuits painted, but that's part of this project upgrade. I'd also like to convert to triple display for streaming / workflow purposes.

First, I would use my current system as the main system. (i9-12900k, RTX 3080ti, 32GB DDR5, 2TB NVME) and give it a slight boost in RAM to 64GB.

Second, I would build a second "work-horse" PC that focuses on storage, and a GPU-capture card. This PC would be used to capture the main display on my gaming system, record that display, encode the video, and then stream it to YouTube/Twitch on my streaming channel. This PC would focus on storage as well - being a home media repository for my home PLEX server and uploaded YouTube videos. Specs would ideally be: Intel 12th gen i7/i9 + 64GB DDR4 + 2TB NVME + Intel Arc 770 + 40TB HDD + EK water cooling. This system build would function as my "on the go" PC I could take to LAN parties such as PDXLAN. (As system one is hanging on the wall) Thematically, I would be using blue fluid in the water-cooling with white lighting throughout the build. Very Intel.

And finally, the two systems would work in tandem via KVM switching and Networking to deliver best in class gaming and streaming. Since streaming works best on a 16:9 ratio monitor, I'd convert to native triple 16:9 monitors. Monitor 1 would be control of the streaming system (OBS), Monitor 2 (middle) would be the gaming monitor, and Monitor 3 would be the live chat area for streams.

**Design Elements: **Circuitry elements throughout the two PC builds. (Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, PC Case, Internal parts) as well as vinyl applications to the room walls mimicking the circuit design artwork. Additionally, monitors will be on monitor arms so the desktop is clear and easy to work on.

Thematically the entire build (PC and room) will be Black, Blue, and White - My favorite color-scheme. Coincidentally, also Intel colors. (I promise this wasn't on purpose!)
