Overview / Usage

This is intended in as an entry for the Ultimate LAN Build Challenge.

All configurations of this case will be built around a Mini-ITX motherboard with a liquid cooled CPU and GPU. The liquid cooling will be run from the larger half of the case containing the motherboard and GPU to the smaller half of the case which will contain the radiators for the liquid cooling loop and the power supply.

The actual construction of the case and the specific hardware inside will vary based on the intended first impression.

A "sleeper" buildout would be made from unfinished metal sheets intentionally sloppily welded or fastened together to create the case. The actual hinge would be repurposed, potentially a door hinge, and also sloppily welded or otherwise fastened to the case. The hardware in this version of the project would be as powerful and overclocked as the admittedly poor ventilation setup will allow. Weatherproofing of this setup will be worse than other versions of the build.

A "showroom" buildout would be 3D printed or assembled from clear laser cut plastic. Showy and RGB slathered hardware would be prioritized as much as is practicable. Hardware power may be reduced in this build to reduce the volume of the fans keeping the hardware cool. Better weather proofing and airflow may be created through the addition of internal air channels and flexible covers over the cable/cooling loop runs.
