The AIY Vision Kit is a development platform to experiment with neural networks on a Raspberry Pi 0, with a Movidius 2450 hat, that accelerates inferencing. The kit and sdk is developed by Google. It includes the raspi 0, a raspi camera, a programmable arcade button, a buzzer, a privacy led and best of all: the Intel/Movidius hat to support the relatively weak raspi 0 in image processing tasks. ...learn more

Overview / Usage
The scope of this project is to experiment with the Intel/Movidius hat on Google's AIY Vision Kit and to share learnings. Collaborators are welcome.
The kit can be purchased at many Target stores, or - more expensive - on Amazon: https://amzn.to/2xOJugy
Methodology / Approach
- Establish base line performance for standard image classifiers with a plain Raspberry Pi 0
- Convert & deploy networks to Intel/Movidius hat
- Compare performance with base line metrics
Technologies Used
Tensorflow, Keras, NCS sdk
