The Problem
Keeping up submission deadlines and writing notes are a Hazzle! So why not use AI on PC to convert text to handwritten text.

Submitting Handwritten documents can turn out to be a hazzle when there is not much time/ When you are lazy to sit with pen and paper. As per surveys it's observed that most students/ office workers miss deadlines on submissions due to laziness/ overloading in converting data into handwritten stuff when required.
So why not convert digital data that can easily be collected into Handwritten notes? This is the reason for creating Handwritten Notes!

Methodology / Approach

The Solution:
Handwritten Notes! is a tool that allows the user to import their handwriting using a Realsense camera and save them to later convert digital text data into handwritten notes. Unlike existing methods, it uses The Solution:

Unlike existing methods it uses OpenVINO™ toolkits and custom pretrained models to ensure that the conversions happen quick and inside a Desktop/Mobile App.
Phase 1: (May-June)
Creating custom model and pretraining it to detect alphabets and store the actual written text under the classified label cut into a particular resizable dimension depending on letters and creating an APP to take input from user using Realsense cameras.
Phase 2: Optimising and pretraining (June)
Pretrain and Optimise the model using the training modules of the App .
Phase 3:Making it production Ready(July)
toolkits and custom pre-trained models to ensure that the conversions happen quick and inside a Desktop/Mobile App.

Technologies Used

" Handwritten Notes!" is a desktop PC/Mobile application that uses:

1. Intel OpenVINO™ toolkit to allow the user to import their handwriting into the application for analysis
2. Intel Movidius NCS devices to allow the user to have an accelerated experience for text detection with OpenVINO™ custom models.
3. Intel RealSense camera is used to take the photo of the written notes.
4. Intel Core i7 CPUs to convert the text files to handwritten notes.
