The Instituto Credicitrus and Credicitrus Innovation Hub have just entered into a partnership with the renowned technology company INTEL®. The strategic collaboration resulting from this agreement will take place at Onovolab Powered by Instituto Credicitrus in Ribeirão Preto, SP, and will open new horizons for the entrepreneur and developer community, providing them with privileged access to cutting-edge technologies such as DevCloud, OpenVino, and oneAPI. These initiatives will be driven through the Intel Innovator, who has been certified with the oneAPI seal since 2020, and the Intel Insider Council. The DevCloud platform is a distributed cloud computing solution based on the PBS project, developed by NASA in 1991. Its primary function was to manage batch jobs, similar to a task scheduler, in addition to taking care of node and resource management. Intel's cloud offers various latest-generation hardware architectures, such as CPUs, FPGA, and GPUs.

OpenVino, on the other hand, is an innovative technology from Intel that enables AI processing in the field of Computer Vision, with the advantage of exploiting the full potential of recognition and processing using the CPU. However, this technology goes beyond the CPU, allowing the simultaneous orchestration of VPU, FPGA, and GPU. This means that it is possible to process the facial detection module on the CPU, calculate the gender estimate on the VPU, and estimate the age on the CPU, for example.

Lastly, oneAPI is a unified, open-source software platform for heterogeneous computing. It allows abstracting the hardware architecture of different devices, offering platform resources for use on CPU, GPU, FPGA, or others. OneAPI is based on the DPC++ language, which in turn derives from the C++ and Kronos SYCL standards.

With these latest generation technologies, startups and developers will have access to cutting-edge solutions to optimize computational cost and exploit the maximum potential of each hardware in terms of performance and precision.
