8th Annual Intel University Games Showcase submission deadline: June 29th, 2021
Student teams upload information about the game they intended to demonstrate at the Intel University Games Showcase at GDC. Entries are due by midnight PDT on June 29th, 2021. Limit of one entry per university. Projects should contain:
9 universities are prequalified for the finals (The Guildhall at SMU, Drexel University, NYU, CMU, UCF/FIEA, SCAD, BYU, UW/Stout, and UC/Santa Cruz) and 4-6 others teams will be chosen for the finals where they will compete for hardware prizes from Intel in the categories of Best Visual Quality, Best Gameplay, and Most Innovative game.
Final details of the judging and awards are still being worked out, but we expect to have the additional finalists chosen. Results will be announced at a future date.
